Appeal for ethical vot

TURA: The West Garo Hills District Election Officer has urged all eligible voters to exercise their franchise during the upcoming Lok Sabha election, while emphasizing on the importance of voters’ participation in the democratic process.

Stating that the voters had an added choice of NOTA the DEO said voters who refrain from exercising their franchise because they do not want to vote for any candidate will now have the option to vote for ‘None Of The Above’.

The DEO cautioned voters not to fall prey to promises of gratification, or accept money, food, liquor, free transport or entertainment provided by the candidates.
