Impressive turnout at BSF recruitment drive

SHILLONG, Sep 3: The special recruitment rally for Constables (General Duty) in the BSF, held exclusively for the youth of Meghalaya, has drawn an impressive turnout.
Organised by the BSF Frontier Headquarters, the rally is being conducted at two key venues namely, BSF Campus, 200 Bn Dhanakgiri, Tura, and SHQ BSF Mawpat Campus, Shillong, providing young men and women of the state with a golden opportunity to embark on a career of honor, service, and national pride.
From the very first day, the rally witnessed an overwhelming response, reflecting the strong enthusiasm of Meghalaya’s youth to serve the nation. With a notable 70:30 male-to-female participation ratio, the event also highlighted the growing empowerment of young women eager to join the country’s frontline defenders.
`On the second day in Shillong, the turnout grew even larger, with candidates traveling from remote and far-flung areas, underlining both the wide reach of the rally and the commitment of the state’s youth to pursue this noble calling.
