London: Music mogul Simon Cowell says singer Mariah Carey is keen to join the US version of X Factor and feels that she will be a big part of the music reality series.
The former American Idol judge reveals that Carey has been keen to play a role on the show when it debuts later this year ever since Cowell started looking for talent to front the show.
“She wanted to be involved in the show from day one… and you can’t say no to Mariah. We have to find a role for her. I’m a huge fan of hers — not just as an artist, but as a person, and I love her to death.” contactmusic.com quoted the 41-year-old as saying. (IANS)
