Condolence
Assam Club Shillong on Sunday organised a condolence meeting to mourn the untimely demise of legendary singer and cultural icon, Zubeen Garg. Fans and admirers from all walks of life gathered to pay tributes, recalling Garg’s immense contribution to music and culture. A minute of silence was observed, and prayers were offered for peace to the departed soul.
Foundation Day
The Foundation Day of Tura United Christian Academy was celebrated recently with Leader of the Opposition Mukul Sangma as the chief guest. Among others who also attended the programme are Registrar of Captain Williamson Sangma State University, Ambrose Ch Marak, the college’s former secretary and governing body member Sanggra A Sangma and TCC vice president Beryl B Sangma.
