TURA, Sep 24: The Federation of All School Teachers of Meghalaya (FASTOM) will hold a sit-in demonstration from Thursday at the Tura Law College ground to press for their demands.
The demonstration will begin at 10:30 am, with FASTOM urging heads of institutions to send teacher representatives from their schools while ensuring that classes continue as usual.
“Heads of the institutions are advised to arrange teachers and placards and send at least two representatives from your school without disrupting the daily classes on alternate days,” the statement said.
