M’laya lad bags top honour at NEITA 2025

SHILLONG, Oct 12: A travel enthusiast and eco-tourism advocate from Meghalaya, Mark Pantora M Sangma, has been recognised for his contributions to the tourism sector, receiving the Travel Experience Award and earning a nomination for Best Travel Entrepreneur at the inaugural Northeast India Tourism Awards (NEITA) 2025, held at Radisson Blu, Guwahati.
The awards, initiated by the Emerging Northeast Eco Forum (ENEEF), aim to highlight and reward efforts that drive sustainable tourism, preserve local culture, and introduce innovative practices across Northeast India. NEITA 2025 is the first edition of this programme, created to honour individuals and organisations making a meaningful impact in the region’s tourism landscape.
NEITA brings together the people shaping the future of Northeast India as a travel destination. The platform recognises those whose work not only promotes tourism but also fosters cultural awareness and environmental responsibility.
