NHM Employees’ Sports Meet to be held in Shillong from October 15–17

Shillong, Oct 14: The National Health Mission Employees Association of Meghalaya (NEAM) has announced the much-awaited NHM Employees’ Sports Meet 2025, which will be held from October 15 to 17 at the Nongkseh Sports Ground in Shillong.
Organised under the aegis of the Government of Meghalaya, Health and Family Welfare Department (NHM), the event is designed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and camaraderie among employees working across various departments of the National Health Mission.According to NEAM, the Sports Meet will feature a range of field and indoor events, including district-level team competitions, encouraging participants to engage in friendly rivalry and teamwork under the theme “Wellness Through Sports and Service Through Health.”The association has urged all NHM employees to take part actively and display their sporting spirit. Heads of offices and departments have also been requested to extend full cooperation and ensure enthusiastic participation from their respective teams to make the event a success.
With the objective of fostering a healthy work-life balance and building unity among health professionals, the upcoming Sports Meet is expected to serve as a refreshing break for NHM staff members while reinforcing the spirit of collective service that drives Meghalaya’s health sector.
