lA Maruti 800 (ML05 – 4975) travelling towards Rambrai from Shillong was hit on the right side by a TATA Sumo (MLO5F – 1509) on a turning at Manai under Mairang Block, West Khasi Hills. The Sumo was heading towards Mawmaram from Mairang when the collision took place on April 18 at 3:40 PM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mairang and Mawphlang helped in shifting Elensing Pariong (44/M), Rosina Sangriang (40/F), Ebristar Sangriang (70/F) and Pynsuklang Sangriang (12/M) to Tirot Singh Memorial Hospital, Mairang and then to NEIGRIMHS, Shillong.
lArban Syiemlieh (27) sustained injuries when the Maruti 800 he was travelling in collided head on with a Maruti Alto coming from the opposite direction at Rilbong, Shillong. The incident happened on April 18 at 8:15 PM. The injured was taken to Shillong Civil Hospital.
