Prime Video official green lights sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue
Streaming service Prime Video on Thursday announced that a sequel to its hit romantic comedy Red, White & Royal Blue is officially being developed. Titled Red, White & Royal Wedding, the sequel will see Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez reprise their roles as Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz. Based on the novel of the same name by author Casey McQuiston, Red, White & Royal Blue released in 2023 and depicted a love affair between Claremont-Diaz, the son of the president of the United States, and Henry, a British prince. The new film will explore the next chapter in their love story as they navigate themes of love, duty and commitment, Prime Video said in a statement. (PTI)
Kate McKinnon to play Aphrodite in Percy Jackson S3
The Saturday Night Live cast member Kate McKinnon has joined the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 as a recurring guest star, reported Variety. The actress will play the role of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. As per the official character description, Aphrodite “can alter her appearance depending on the beholder” and “must be sure that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) respects the power and importance of love before she agrees to offer aid on his quest,” as quoted by Variety. McKinnon is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live, serving as a cast member from 2012 to 2022. (ANI)
Delhi Crime S3 to release in Nov
Shefali Shah is all set to come up with the third season of Delhi Crime. Tanuj Chopra has directed Delhi Crime S3, which also features Rasika Dugal (as Neeti Singh), Rajesh Tailang (as Bhupendra Singh), Jaya Bhattacharya (as Vimla Baradwaj) and Anuraag Arora (as Jairaj Singh) . The cast is joined by Huma Qureshi, Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji and Anshumaan Pushkar. On reprising her role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, Shefali in a press note said, “Returning as Madam Sir always feels deeply personal. Her significance, both to me and in today’s times, has only grown stronger in my eyes. Vartika is fighting an enemy that not only crosses borders, but also exists in the shadow of everyday society.
