Meeting
The general meeting of the MeECL Pensioners’ Association will be held from 10 am onwards on October 28 at the State Central Library Auditorium, Shillong. In this regard, all MeECL pensioners and family pension holders have been invited to attend the meeting. Participants have also been requested to confirm their attendance by October 22 to facilitate necessary arrangements.
Symposium
The Department of Sociology, Captain Williamson Sangma State University, Tura, will organise a one-day symposium on the theme ‘Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS): Sustainable Future’ on Wednesday. According to a statement here, event will feature eminent resource persons from across the country and a wide range of participants from within Meghalaya.
