MCA names squad for U-19 men’s Cooch Behard Trophy

Shillong, Oct 22: The Meghalaya Cricket Association revealed its squad for the first two matches of the U-19 men’s Cooch Behar Trophy 2025-26 on Wednesday.
The junior men’s selection committee has picked 15 players and five standbys for the multi-day tournament.
The team is largely based on that which participated in the recently-concluded U-19 men’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy one day tournament, where Meghalaya won three matches.
The team will be captained by Angkit Tamang, who will have Gaurav Narleng as his vice-captain.
The preparatory camp will run from November 4 to 12 at Jagiroad, Assam. Meghalaya’s first match will be against Sikkim in Shillong from November 16. Meghalaya will then travel to Anand, Gujarat, for the second fixture against Manipur from November 23.
