Country singer KevinSharp, best known for his hit number “Nobody Knows” breathed his last following health complications. He was 43.

According to Sharp’s website, he passed away April 19 due to complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues, years after battling rare bone cancer-Ewing’s sarcoma when he was just a teenager, reports eonline.com

Sharp made his debut on the country music scene in 1997 with a cover of R&B artist Tony Rich’s single “Nobody Knows”, which topped the Billboard country charts for four weeks.

It was his battle with cancer that led him to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which arranged a meeting for him with music producer David Foster when the organization learned Sharp was an aspiring musician.

That meeting later led to a record deal.

Months after that, Sharp found out he had beaten cancer. He also wrote an inspirational book about his experience, and occasionally toured the United States as a motivational speaker.

Sharp wrote: “If there is one thing that might be more shocking than hearing a death sentence, it’s hearing that death sentence lifted. Finding your way back into life after being taken out of it for so long is harder than you might imagine.” (IANS)
