Shillong, Oct 26: The Meghalaya Veteran Table Tennis Association is all set to compete in the 4th North East Masters Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled to take place at Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, from October 29 to 31, 2025.
The tournament will feature age categories of 40+, 50+, 60+, and 70+, drawing top players from across the region.
Ex-Meghalaya State Champion Kyrshan Ranee will make her debut in the 50+ category, while 2024 NE champion in the 60+ category, Santanu Ghosh, along with runner-up Harendra Singha and A G West, will compete in the 60+ bracket.
The Meghalaya contingent, comprising 18 players, will be led by Manager Sudesh Pradhan, who expressed confidence about the team’s prospects in what promises to be a highly competitive tournament.
The squad is scheduled to depart for Pasighat on Monday, October 27, ahead of the three-day event.
This participation underscores Meghalaya’s continued strength and presence in the North East masters circuit, with veterans aiming to add more accolades to their impressive records.
The mix of experience and fresh energy in the squad, led by Manager Sudesh Pradhan, positions the team well to face stiff competition across all age categories. Beyond the pursuit of medals, this tournament offers an opportunity for players to showcase their sportsmanship.
