Over hundred law students graduate from city college

SHILLONG, Oct 27: Over a hundred students from the BA.LLB (2020-25) and LLB (2022-25) batches of Shillong Law College marked the culmination of their academic journey during a grand graduation ceremony held on Monday.
The event, organised by the Students’ Bar Association, celebrated the hard work and achievements of the graduating class.
Outstanding students from both programmes were honoured with awards for academic excellence, while a Special Award was presented to two students for their exceptional contributions and accomplishments during their time at the college.
Addressing the graduates as the chief guest, Senior Advocate of the High Court of Meghalaya, VK Jindal, congratulated the students and encouraged them to uphold integrity, ethics, and dedication as they embark on their professional careers in law.
College Principal Dr Shariffuddin delivered the welcome address, while Vice Principal Dr M Kharshiing proposed the vote of thanks.
The ceremony also witnessed the presence of members of the Governing Body.
