Body recovered

On April 23 around 9:30 am, the body of Original Basan (20) was fished out from Umiam Lake . During enquiry, it transpired that the deceased had drowned when his boat sunk in the Lake, while he was fishing. Cadaver was handed over to the relatives after necessary formalities.
