Hoteliers expect full occupancy during Cherry Blossom Festival

SHILLONG, Nov 7: Hoteliers in Shillong are expecting full occupancy of their rooms during the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival.
Parambir Singh Sehdave, president of the Federation of Shillong Hotels, said that the tourist flow is quite good at the moment, and they are expecting 100 per cent occupancy during the festival.
The Meghalaya government is anticipating that the upcoming Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 will attract more than 50,000 overnight tourists this year, with the overall footfall expected to reach into the lakhs, including day visitors.
