Wife kills husband, flees after stuffing body in bag
JASHPUR, Nov 10:A woman is on the run after allegedly killing her 43-year-old husband and stuffing his body into a trolley bag in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district.The incident came to light on Sunday after the accused called her daughter and confessed to the killing.The accused told her daughter that she had killed her husband Santosh Bhagat, covered his body with a blanket, and stuffed it into a trolley bag. The woman’s daughter along with her husband rushed to Bhinjpur the next day and informed Vinod Minj (45), elder brother of the deceased and case complainant,.The accused is absconding and efforts are on to arrest her, the official said. 13-year old girl kills 2 minor cousins by pushing them into well
RAIPUR, Nov 10: Two minor siblings drowned after they were pushed into a well allegedly by their 13-year-old female cousin over “thief” taunt in a village in Chhattisgarh police said on Monday.The victims were identified as Karan Verma (4) and his sister Vaishali (2).The accused girl told investigators that Karan called her a “chor” (thief) multiple times, which enraged her. In a fit of rage, the teenager pushed Karan as well as his sister into a well located in a vegetable garden in the village.When Gajanand Verma and his wife could not find their son and daughter, they, along with other villagers, launched a frantic search for them. During the search, villagers noticed the body of a child floating in a well and on being pulled out, it was identified as that of Vaishali, he said.Suspecting the second missing child may also be in the water body, villagers drained the well using a motor pump and recovered the boy’s body. Woman dies by suicide, ex-lover held
MUMBAI, Nov 10: A 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after being mentally harassed by her former boyfriend.The police on Sunday arrested the deceased woman’s former boyfriend, Ali Sheikh, in connection with her death.Hritika Rohit Chavhan allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling fan at her apartment in the Indira Nagar area on Saturday night, he said.As per a complaint lodged by the deceased’s mother, Hritika had been in a relationship with Sheikh, who was her colleague.When Hritika ended the relationship, Sheikh started stalking her and mentally harassing her, the complaint stated.Her family members recovered a suicide note from her belongings.
