SHILLONG, Nov 17: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma was admitted to NEIGRIHMS for a brief period early Monday morning.
Sources informed that the Chief Minister drove from his residence to the emergency ward of NEIGRIHMS on Monday morning at around 4:50 am after his heart beat spiked.
All cardiac investigations were done and the reports were found to be normal. His heart beat, which had gone up to 110 per minute, was brought down to normal with medication.
He was discharged from the Cardiac ICU at 6 am after a senior cardiologist attended to him.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister went about his normal work and even attended some programmes in Garo Hills.
