SHILLONG: The second North East delegates meeting of the North East minority departments of AICC was held at Umshyrpi College here on Wednesday.
The meeting deliberated on the various problems faced by the North East minority departments of AICC many of which remained non functional.
Discussions were also held on revamping the minority departments so as to enable them to serve the minority communities residing in the region.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma also addressed the meeting and stressed on the need to re-structure the minority departments in the North East.
