SHILLONG: In a tragic incident, a 16-month-old baby girl died on the spot after she was ran over by a vehicle driven by her father at Pdengshnong Mawkynrew in East Khasi Hills district.
Police said that the incident occurred at around 1.30 pm on Tuesday when one Mastershon Mukhim (33) was reversing his vehicle (ML-05J-2466) near his house at Pdengshnong Mawkynrew.
The four-wheeler accidentally ran over his baby daughter Elphina Wankhar who awas declared brought dead at the Bethany Hospital here.
