SHILLONG: A motorist lost his life while the pillion rider sustained injuries in a road accident at Downgate, Nongpoh under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on Thursday.
The accident happened when the motorcycle had a collision with a truck at Downgate, Nongpoh.
Motorist Raj Sinha (18) was pronounced dead on reaching Nongpoh Civil Hospital while pillion rider Deep Jyoti (13), who sustained injuries, is currently undergoing medical treatment.
