SHILLONG, Nov 27: An unidentified man died of electrocution on Thursday after he reportedly entered a high-tension electrical transformer area at NEIGRIHMS, allegedly to collect garbage.
Police informed that the victim died on the spot and was later shifted to the NEIGRIHMS morgue.
Soon after receiving information, police contacted MeECL officials and requested an immediate disconnection of the power supply to prevent further danger and to facilitate the removal of the body.
