Assault
- On May 1 at about 8.30 am, Molin Umbah assaulted Tes Syiem (51 yrs) at Mawtari, Umsning village (RB). Victim sustained injuries.
- Binelson Tongper lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on May 1 at around 6 am Dindajal, Bajrang, Mahesh Gurjar and Vikash Bijarnia assaulted his employee Prahlad Ola at Mooralong, Jowai (WJH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries. Police arrested the accused.
- Purnmal Khilary lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on May 1 at around 6 am, one Prahlad Ola assaulted his employees, Bajrang and Mahesh Gurjar at Mooralong, Jowai (WJH) and also threatened them with dire consequences. As a result, Bajrang sustained injuries. Police arrested the accused.
- On May 1 at around 7.45 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Hunlang Khongsit at Mawblei in Shillong.
Fake certificate
On April 22, Commandant, 1st MLP Bn., Mawiong, Shillong sent one Birth Certificate which was purportedly issued by SMHO, Registration of Birth & Death, Shillong Municipal Board, in the name of one Manoj Kumar Ojha, for verification. During verification, it was ascertained that the certificate is fake.
