Please refer to the “Shillong Jottings” (ST Aug 7, 2011) “Dosa Drought”, where you have mentioned that we are experimenting with non-vegetarian dosa by adding chicken etc to masala part which is totally incorrect because we never ever tried experimenting with such a menu nor will we do this in future.

Please, clarify the mistake as it is misleading the readers and harming the goodwill of the restaurant.

 Reporter replies: Shillong jottings is not the imagination of any reporter. We spoke to people who frequent the Regal Restaurant and have got this information from them. We had no reason to doubt them since they spoke on good faith and out of sincere appreciation that the Restaurant is adapting to the requirements of a large section of non-vegetarian clientele.
