While the music of the Bollywood film Dhurandhar is fast becoming a national sensation, a young artiste from Meghalaya has added her own spark to the movie’s soundtrack. Daiaphi Lamare, popularly known as Reble, has showcased her talent by rapping in a couple of songs featured in the film.
Reble, a well-known rapper and singer from Shillong, has impressed listeners with her sharp, confident verses in tracks such as “Run Down the City – Monica” and “Naal Nachna.” Her dynamic voice and energetic style have stood out, earning her praise from both audiences and industry insiders.
At just 24, Reble has been honing her craft for years. The rapper-songwriter recently released her latest single, “New Riot,” a fiery hip-hop anthem laced with distorted synths, industrial undertones, and raw emotional power. The track reflects her bold artistic identity—unfiltered, experimental, and unapologetically expressive.
Before her Bollywood breakthrough, Reble was already gaining steady recognition. One of her notable recent highlights includes her collaboration on the Malayalam film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, where her contribution added a fresh musical edge. Born in Nongbah, West Jaintia Hills, Daiaphi Lamare has carved a distinct niche for herself in the Indian music scene. Known for her fearless lyricism, punk-inspired energy, and rebellious spirit, Reble continues to push boundaries while staying rooted in her identity and experiences.
