SHILLONG, Dec 11: In what can truly be termed “golden news” for air travellers, IndiGo flight operations from Shillong Airport have been running smoothly for the past three to four days.
According to officials from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the airline has resolved all previous issues, ensuring that services are now functioning without any disruptions.
AAI officials further informed that two IndiGo flights are currently operating daily on the Shillong-Kolkata route, providing much-needed connectivity for passengers. On average, around 60 to 70 travellers from Shillong are boarding the IndiGo flights each day, which reflect a steady demand and a positive response from the public.
The smooth operations come as a relief for regular flyers who depend on this crucial link between Meghalaya and Kolkata, especially at a time when reliable air connectivity remains essential for both business and leisure travel.
