Bandakerlin Lyngdoh has been awarded PhD for her thesis ‘Economic Well-Being of Single Mother Households in Meghalaya: A case study of South West Khasi Hills District’, which she completed under the supervision of Dr Wandinecia Tariang. She is the daughter of Loveming Wanniang and Donboklin Lyngdoh, and wife of Dr F Laloo.

Linda Bessy Lyngdoh has been awarded PhD by the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, for her thesis ‘Hospitals in the Khasi-Jaintia Hills in the Twentieth Century: A Social History,’ which she completed under the supervision of Prof (retd.) Amena N Passah. She is the daughter of L Onbeland Lyngdoh and Dianghun Lyngdoh, and a resident of Mawlai-Mawiong Umjapung.
