SHILLONG: Police have arrested a truck driver who knocked down a person at Jingkieng Pomblang NH-44, West Jaintia Hills on Thursday last.
The accused A.H Rajesh Singh knocked down driving the truck (NL-01G-8120) knocked down one Raj Kumar Singh at around 2.15 pm as a result of which the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Ialong CHC. Raj Kumar Singh later succumbed to his injuries at NEIGRIHMS here.
