Emergency meeting
The KSU West Khasi Hills District Unit will convene an emergency meeting in Nongstoin at 3 pm on Tuesday. The meeting has been called to discuss important issues of the district that need immediate attention. The meeting would include deliberations on the decision of the state government to remove the Police Outpost (Border Homeguard) from Kyrshai, decision of the government to set up ANVC (B) designated camp in West Khasi Hills District and the ILP issue. The Union has urged all the presidents and general secretaries of the circles in the District to attend the meeting.
Blood camp
The Art of Living, Shillong will organize a blood donation camp in the city as part of the birth anniversary celebration of its founder Sri Sri Ravi Sanker at Pasteur Institute on Tuesday. The camp will begin at 11 am and continue till 2pm. In the evening, a Satsang programme will also be organised at Hotel Alpine in Thana road.
