NEW DELHI, Jan 12: Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa strongly criticized AAP leaders Atishi and Arvind Kejriwal, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, for allegedly disrespecting Sikh Gurus during a Delhi Assembly session on the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
He claimed Atishi disrupted proceedings, used derogatory words, and fled the Assembly, while the AAP tried to suppress the incident by filing an FIR and alleging video tampering.
Sirsa dismissed these claims, pointing to the Assembly’s live footage, and urged Mann, as a Sikh leader, to uphold his moral responsibility.
He emphasized that the incident insults Sikh faith, undermines the Assembly’s dignity, and threatens India’s federal structure. (PTI)
