SHILLONG: MPCC president DD Lapang on Monday denied having knowledge of a move by ‘dissident groups’ for a change of leadership in the State.

“As the president I would come to know if there is any such development,” Lapang said, even though he stated that the party MLAs were free to express anything and nobody can stop that.

“We would take stock of the situation if there is really any such demand,” the MPCC president said.
