Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia announced for families of deceased in coal mine tragedy

Shillong, Feb 5 : Meghalaya Chief Miniter Conrad K Sangma has announced that the state government will provide an ex gratia of Rs 3 Lakhs will be given to the next of kin of the deceased  in the coal mine blast in East Jaintia Hills on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has also announced ex gratia of Rs2 Lakhs to the families of the deceased through the PMNRF and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
