Shillong, Feb 5: The High Court of Meghalaya has summoned the East Jaintia Hills(EJH) district Deputy Commissioner Shivansh Awasthi, and Superintendent of Police Vikash Kumar, in connection with the death of at least 18 miners in a suspected dynamite explosion at an illegal coal mine in Thangksu area in the district onThursday.
Both the DC and SP have to appear before the court on Monday.
