SHILLONG: A 13-year-old girl was abducted and allegedly raped under confinement by one Vijay Thapa. Police arrested the accused.
One Puspa Chettri lodged a complaint at Laban police station that on May 15 at around 6.30 pm, Thapa abducted the minor from Lower Lumparing and raped her in Bishnupur.
In another incident, one Heipormi Synna abducted one 16-year-old girl from Sutnga village (EJH) On May 2 and outraged her modesty.
