Mawkyrwat, Feb 7: A 14-year-old boy, Vipin Donald Iawphniaw from Diwian village, near Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills district, reportedly went missing from his residence for more than two weeks.
According to his mother, Basuklang Iawphniaw, the minor boy has been missing since January 23.
“At first, I thought that he visited our relatives here in the village, but after he did not come back, I started to search everywhere and contacted our relatives as well as the people of the village, but no one knows where he is. We have also reported the matter to the police, but till now we could not find him,” she said.
The mother also informed that on the day he went missing, her son was wearing a dark blue sweater, a red cap, and a pair of tracksuit pants, and his height is about 4.6 feet.
