SHILLONG, Feb 12: Governor CH Vijayashankar on Wednesday honoured 10 Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) for their resilience and achievements during a ceremony at Lok Bhavan.
The event was organised by the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and the Social Welfare department, in collaboration with Lok Bhavan.
The awardees included Ferdinand Lyngdoh Marshillong, Anjelina Tynhiang, Simseng M Sangma, Willingson Manar, Orphon Nongrum, Shanborlang Siangshai, Madhu Subedhi, Keneddy Rynjah, Jepora T Sangma and Pillbert Hanse.
