Fashion Society Shillong, in collaboration with NEIGRIHMS, announced on Monday that the Miss and Mr Medic Pageant 2026 will be held at the NEIGRIHMS Auditorium on March 28.
According to a statement here, auditions for the pageant will be conducted at the NEIGRIHMS Auditorium on March 7 from 2 p.m. onwards. The competition is open to all contestants from the northeastern states of India who are either students or working professionals in the health sector.
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age. The minimum height required for the Miss contestants is 5 feet 1 inch, and for the Mr. contestants is 5 feet 5 inches.
Winners of both categories will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while Rs 30,000 to the 1st runners up, and Rs 20,000 to the second runners up.
Selected contestants must appear on March 21and 22 at the NEIGRIHMS Auditorium, 2 p.m. for the rehearsals.
During the pageant, there will also be an Eclectic Fashion Show by the choicest models of Fashion Society Shillong. The project is conducted with support from the North East Council, Shillong.
