Badshah issues apology for objectionable lyrics in Tateeree
Rapper and singer Badshah has apologized after his latest song Tateeree faced backlash for allegedly containing objectionable lyrics about women and minors. The 40-year-old, known for hits like Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai and Genda Phool, posted a video on Instagram stating that the song unintentionally hurt people, particularly in Haryana, his home state. He emphasized that his intention was never to disrespect women or children, and that his lyrics, typical of hip hop competition, were not meant personally. Badshah stressed his commitment to promoting Haryanvi culture and expressed heartfelt regret for any offense caused, asking for forgiveness. Following complaints, police registered an FIR against him, and authorities issued notices to remove the video from all social media platforms. Monsters, Inc 3 in the works at Pixar
Pixar is developing the third instalment of its popular animated franchise, Monsters, Inc., Variety reported via the Wall Street Journal. The first film, directed by Pete Docter in 2001, followed monsters Sulley and Mike, who work for an energy company that scares children, until they befriend a human girl. Its sequel, Monsters University (2013), directed by Dan Scanlon, explored the duo’s college years as they trained to become the scariest monsters. Both films were major hits, with the original grossing over USD 528 million and the sequel surpassing USD 700 million. Details about the new film are currently under wraps. YouTuber Anurag Dobhal appears conscious in hospital video
YouTuber and Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal, who attempted suicide following severe psychological distress, is reported to be stable and responding well to treatment. A recent video shared by friends shows him conscious, aware, and talking to visitors in a hospital emergency room, smiling as friends urged him to see the incident as his “second birth.” The incident occurred when Dobhal livestreamed himself driving at speeds of 140–150 km/h on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway near Ghaziabad, describing it as a “final drive,” before losing control and crashing into a divider. Authorities and bystanders quickly intervened, and he was hospitalized with injuries, including fractures, and placed under medical observation. Prior posts revealed family conflict and mental health struggles, sparking online conversations about creator pressure, emotional well-being, and the dangers of livestreaming while driving.
