Shillong, March 10: Mawmluh CC edged past Lumpaia Avengers CC by 13 runs in Match 33 of the 5th District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2026, organised by the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association.
After losing the toss and being put in to bat, Mawmluh CC posted 113 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. Dakerlang Sohkhlet top-scored with 31 off 36 deliveries, anchoring the innings. For Lumpaia Avengers, Ralphy H. Diengdoh impressed with the ball, claiming three wickets for 15 runs in his four-over spell.
Chasing 114 for victory, Lumpaia Avengers struggled against disciplined bowling and were bowled out for 100 in 19.4 overs. Aldy Mebandondor Nongbri was the highest scorer with 21 off 30 balls. Vijay Pathaw starred with the ball for Mawmluh CC, taking three wickets for 16 runs in four overs to guide his team to victory. Pathaw was named Player of the Match for his decisive spell.
In Match 34, Rangshken ACC defeated Hurdles CC Mawsynram by six wickets.
Hurdles CC, after winning the toss and electing to bat, were bundled out for just 58 in 11.5 overs. Donaldi Kharshandy was the top scorer with seven runs off six balls. Pyndaplang Khasian delivered a devastating spell for Rangshken ACC, claiming five wickets for 11 runs in three overs.In reply, Rangshken ACC chased down the modest target with relative ease, scoring 61 for 4 in 13.4 overs. Hamostar Sun top-scored with 13 runs from 20 deliveries. For Hurdles CC, Labiang Shangpliang picked up two wickets for 10 runs in three overs.
Pyndaplang Khasian was adjudged Player of the Match for his outstanding five-wicket haul.w
