Rajkummar Rao-starrer Raftaar to release on July 24
Raftaar, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh, is set to release in theatres on July 24. The Amazon MGM Studios’ film is described as ‘a gripping drama of ambition, love, and greed’ and is directed by Aditya Nimbalkar. It is produced by Rao’s wife and actor Patralekhaa under the banner of Kampa Film. The makers shared the announcement with a post on Instagram on Saturday. It featured the poster with the film’s title written over it.‘Ambition built it. Greed will test it. #Raftaar, releasing on July 24, at a theatre near you,’ read the caption. Raftaar is set in a high-stakes world where ambition builds empires, and success comes at a price. At its heart lies a fast-rising start-up and a charged relationship between a driven man and an equally ambitious woman. It will also be the first collaboration of Rao and Suresh. (PTI)

Hollywood actress Rachel Zegler has shared that she felt like ‘the boyfriend’ in her past relationships. The 24-year-old actress, who is rumoured to have split from Nathan Louis-Fernand, and is still on good terms with West Side Story co-star and ex Josh Andres Rivera, has shared a series of snaps and life updates, and included a meme which caught the eye of fellow Broadway star Roman Banks. He commented slide 14 lmaooo, referring to a post which read, ‘I can’t wait to be a girlfriend cause last time I was the boyfriend’. Rachel said, ‘Not just last time EVERY TIME”. She was first linked to Nathan in July 2025 after they worked together on the West End run of Evita. Keke Palmer gets strange marriage proposal from fan
Actor and singer Keke Palmer had an unexpected moment on stage at the South by Southwest (SXSW) when a fan rushed forward and proposed marriage during a live podcast recording, according to Variety. Palmer was hosting a live episode of her podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer with her I Love Boosters co-stars, including Demi Moore, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu and Eiza Gonzalez, when the incident took place. According to reports, a man approached the stage, knelt down and opened a ring box while proposing to Palmer, leaving the actor visibly stunned as her co-stars reacted with a mix of shock and laughter, as per Variety. ‘I can’t marry you. I don’t know you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, sir,’ Palmer told the man, prompting laughter from the audience. (ANI)
