A total of 156 students from various departments and semesters were awarded a scholarship of ₹18,000 in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements. Among them, 37 students received Certificates of Merit, as they are already recipients of other prestigious scholarships offered by the University.

Addressing the students, Shri Akhilesh Kumar Singh said, “Choose your career according to your own aptitude.

Planning is the pillar of your career, and with hard work you can define your own destiny. Urging them to stay focused and determined, he said that destiny is shaped through perseverance and sincere effort, and that every important decision in life should be guided by one’s own perception and ideas rather than by the opinions or expectations of others.
Dr. A.K. Pansari stated that RGU has consistently promoted a culture of excellence not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities.

He highlighted several student-centric scholarship schemes instituted by the University, including the Royal Merit Scholarship, Zubeen Garg Scholarship (policy for promotion of extra-curricular activities), Royal Shaurya (full Freeship to the wards of Braveheart security personnels, and Royal Suraksha (50% scholarship for wards of serving and retired security personnel).

The newly introduced Zubeen Garg Scholarship is provided under the categories of Sports (both individual and team sports), Cultural Activities (Dance, Music, Theatre, Fine Arts) and Literary (Debate) activities.
