Shillong, March 27: Sputnik CC and Royal CC recorded emphatic victories in their respective matches of the Late P.A. Sangma Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association.
In the first match, Sputnik CC put up a commanding performance to defeat Sporting CC by 92 runs. Opting to bat first, Sputnik piled up an imposing 248 for four in 20 overs, powered by a brilliant 90 off 46 balls by Kshittij Singhania. In reply, Sporting CC managed 156 for six. Singhania was named Player of the Match. In the second match, Royal CC cruised to a seven-wicket win over Donkin CC. Batting first, Donkin were bowled out for 89 in 14.5 overs. Royal CC chased down the target, reaching 93 for three in 9.5 overs. Raj Biswa was adjudged Player of the Match.
