Unclaimed body

An unidentified male patient, aged 45 years, brought by a 108 ambulance on April 10, was declared dead the same day. The cadaver has been shifted to the morgue room of the hospital. In this regard, the Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong, has requested concerned persons to claim the body from the hospital morgue.

Corrigendum

In the news item titled “2 city colleges sign MoU for legal literacy”, which was published in the April 15 edition of this paper, it is clarified that the MoU was signed between Shillong Law College and St. Edmund’s School. The headline erroneously attributed the signing of the MoU to two “colleges”. The inadvertent error is regretted.
