Sydney Sweeney’s cameo in The Devil Wears Prada 2 was cut during the final edit, according to Variety.
She had filmed a brief scene appearing as herself, where Emily Blunt’s character Emily Charlton, now heading Dior’s US operations, styles her for an event. The sequence was ultimately removed in post-production.
Another deleted role was actor Conrad Ricamora, who was cast as Andy’s roommate.
est screenings reportedly questioned the need for the character, leading to his removal. The final cut instead focuses more on Andy’s interactions with Tracie Thoms’ character.
Despite these changes, the sequel features several high-profile cameos and appearances.
The film recently premiered in New York and includes Lady Gaga, who also recorded the track Runway with Doechii for the soundtrack. Donatella Versace and Naomi Campbell also appear in special cameo roles.
Directed by David Frankel, the film reunites the original creative team and stars returning and new cast members. It is set for release in India on May 1, 2026. (ANI)
