SHILLONG: A hat-trick by G Kharlyngdoh and an early goal by D Pomtiah gave Rangdajied United FC a 4-0 victory over Langsning SC in the U-19 Shillong Premier League, organised by the Shillong Sports Association, at the JN Sports Complex, Polo, on Saturday.
Pomtiah netted a fifth minute goal, with Kharlyngdoh’s strikes coming in the second half (60th, 73rd, 87th minutes)
In Friday’s match, a dominant Nangkiew Irat swept to an 8-2 victory over Boys Sports Company.
R Malngiang scored a hat-trick for Nangkiew with goals coming in the 35th, 51st and 84th minutes.
Further contributions were made by AC Nongbri (23rd), A Kurbah (42nd), B Nongsiej (47th) and O Bareh (86th, 89th).
Boys Sports Company had actually taken a 2-0 lead before Nangkiew responded with a flood of goals.
P Singh (14th) and S Tamang (15th) were the goalscorers for the losing team.
On Monday Boys Sports Company will be back in action in a match against Malki SC at 4:15pm.
