The president D B Gurung, vice president, Prakash Bhandari and members of Golden Gloves Sports Club, Shillong expressed their profound sorrow and anguish on the sudden demise of its founder secretary L B Chettri on June 18 at Woodland Hospital, Shillong. Late L B Chettri was the joint secretary of Indian Boxer Association and former Secretary of Meghalaya Boxing Associaiton, Shillong. Chettri represented India in the National and International Boxing Tournament as Referee. He conducted many tournaments apart from boxing.
