Producer Amit Jani, who is backing the upcoming film Kala Hiran, has alleged that he is receiving death threats from Pakistan ahead of the film’s release.
In a post on X, he claimed that Shahzad Bhatti, whom he described as a “Pakistani terrorist,” had been calling and messaging him late at night, threatening a drone and grenade attack while expressing support for actor Salman Khan.
Jani said he has informed the Ministry of Home Affairs, Rajasthan Police, and CRPF officials about the alleged threats.
He further claimed that Salman Khan is facing legal proceedings related to the blackbuck (kala hiran) case and accused the actor of attempting to prevent the release of the film, which is inspired by the controversial blackbuck poaching case involving the Bollywood star.
According to Jani, he has faced significant pressure over the project and alleged that earlier threats had also been issued in the name of the D-Company.
Despite the warnings, he asserted that he would continue with the film’s release and said that even if anything happened to him, his team would ensure the movie reaches audiences.
He added that the film aims to highlight the Bishnoi community’s struggle and sacrifices. The producer has previously made several allegations linked to the project.
Recently, he announced plans to take legal action against actor Govind Namdeo, accusing him of making false statements and claiming he had worked on the film under misleading circumstances.
Jani also alleged earlier that he had received a legal notice from Salman Khan regarding the film, a notice he publicly tore up in a video shared online.
Neither Salman Khan nor his representatives have publicly responded to Jani’s latest allegations. The claims remain unverified, and no official confirmation has been issued regarding the alleged threats. (IANS)
