Theft
On July 7, unknown miscreants stole a laptop, a file folder and bank cheque books belonging to one Dany Khrawbok Lyngdoh at Nokia Care, Fire Brigade, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
On July 3 at night, unknown miscreants broke into the house of one Harold Swett, Laban Last Stop, Shillong, and stole Rs 40,000.
Accident case
On July 7 at around 6.30pm, a Tata Sumo driven by one Lalchunglur (27) overturned at ARC Happy Valley, Shillong. As a result, one occupant in the vehicle, Emmanuel Sungte (16) died on the spot while ten others sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong.

One Kiron Boro has filed an FIR at Bholaganj Outpost that on July 7, B Das, K Dey and others attempted to murder A Boro and D Saikia in Chakrabarti.
