Glee’ star Becca Tobin’s boyfriend was found dead in his hotel room. The 28-year-old actress, who plays cheerleader Kitty in the comedy series, was accompanying nightclub owner Matt Bendik on a business trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when the tragedy happened, it was reported.
The couple was spotted with friends on Wednesday night and returned to their hotel together. Bendik’s body was found by a maid on Thursday afternoon. He was 35. It is unknown where Tobin was at the time.
The circumstances surrounding his death had not been revealed. Staff at the Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed that Bendik’s body was found but did not reveal further details.
Bendik ran several major clubs around the country, but especially in Los Angeles, where he was the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub. He also was a co-owner of AV Nightclub. (PTI)
