Hollywood star Matt Damon has revealed that missing the chance to work with Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur on the 2002 film The Four Feathers remains a regret. Speaking at a promotional event for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in Mumbai, Damon said Kapur was one of the most sought-after directors at the time and that he was disappointed when his commitment to the Jason Bourne franchise prevented him from joining the project.
Damon said Kapur has always been on his list of filmmakers he wants to collaborate with and hopes to work with him in the future. The actor is currently in India with Tom Holland and Nolan for The Odyssey, which also stars Zendaya, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron and is scheduled for release on July 17.
